We are excited to announce that we have secured a beautiful free venue to hold our first fundraising event. Carlos from the stunning Espacio Gallery, located a stone's throw away from Brick Lane in East London, has donated the upper gallery for us to host an event on 21th December where we plan to sell off a selection of donated artworks by talented artists. A great chance to for guests to pick up a last minute Christmas gift. The event will be hosted by Sweet 'Art, a not-for-profit arts organisation with years of experience in hosting successful arts events, directed by Outskirts founder Corrina Eastwood and Outskirts Trustee Charlotte Elliston.
If you are an artist and would like to help raise funds for Outskirts then this is how you can get involved. We plan to host an art sale where donated works will be sold off for this worthy cause at a £10 minimum donation per art work to make it affordable for all to buy some art.
We need as many artists as possible to donate an art work (drawing, illustration, painting, photography) on good quality paper, A4 or A3 size. If you are an artist creating sculptural work, we are also keen to accept small sculptural pieces that will also be sold at a minimum of £10 each.
All proceeds will go towards Outskirts. It will be a great event following Sweet ‘Art tradition and a good opportunity to show your work and raise your profile.
We would like as many works as possible and so are getting started now in collecting art donations.
If you are interested in donating please contact us and thank you in advance!
